1. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
2. Twist and remove the protective cap from the lancet.
3. Insert the lancet into a compatible lancing device.
4. Follow the lancing device instructions to obtain a capillary blood sample.
5. Dispose of the lancet safely after one use.
