The GlucoSure STAR Blood Glucose Monitoring System provides a convenient and organized way to monitor blood glucose levels at home. It is designed to measure blood glucose using a small blood sample and displays clear results in just 6 seconds.

The meter stores up to 300 readings with the corresponding dates and times. It also calculates averages over 7, 14, and 30 days, helping users review their blood glucose results and maintain an organized monitoring routine.

The system supports data transfer to a compatible computer when used with the appropriate software and connection accessories. Blood samples can be obtained from the fingertip. Alternate-site testing using samples from the palm or forearm may also be performed when appropriate, in accordance with the user manual and the advice of a healthcare professional.

A convenient test-strip ejection feature helps minimize direct contact with used test strips. The system comes in a practical carrying case and includes a lancing device and user manual, making it suitable for use at home or while travelling.

• The GlucoSure STAR Blood Glucose Monitoring System is intended for the quantitative measurement of glucose in fresh capillary whole-blood samples.
• It is designed to assist people with diabetes in self-monitoring their blood glucose levels.

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water, then dry them completely.
2. Prepare the meter and lancing device. Insert a new, sterile lancet into the lancing device.
3. Insert a compatible GlucoSure STAR test strip into the meter in the direction indicated.
4. Wait until the blood-application symbol appears on the display.
5. Use the lancing device to obtain a small drop of blood from your fingertip.
6. Touch the sample-application area of the test strip to the blood drop until the required amount of blood has been drawn into the strip.
7. Wait 6 seconds for the result to appear on the display.
8. Record the result if necessary, or review it later in the meter’s memory.
9. Eject the used test strip and dispose of it safely.
10. Remove the used lancet and immediately discard it in an appropriate sharps container.

• Keep the meter away from direct sunlight, heat, moisture, and dust.

• Remove the batteries if the meter will not be used for an extended period.
