1.  Wrap the cuff around the upper arm.
2. Position the stethoscope over the brachial artery.
3. Inflate the cuff until blood flow is temporarily occluded.
4. Gradually release the air pressure.
5. Record systolic and diastolic readings while listening to Korotkoff sounds.
6. Remove the cuff after measurement.
