Postoperative Stoma Bandage

• Intended to provide comfortable, balanced abdominal support following stoma surgery while helping secure and correctly position the ostomy pouch during daily use.

1.  Remove the elastic stoma bandage and unfold it completely.
2. Position the center of the bandage across the back of the abdomen, with the care label facing outward.
3. Place the disposable ostomy pouch inside the supporting pocket.
4. Carefully align the circular opening with the stoma.
5. Wrap both ends around the abdomen and secure them comfortably.
6. Adjust the tension without compressing the stoma or restricting pouch drainage.
7. Ensure the pouch is properly supported without folding or twisting.

•  Use as directed by a physician or stoma care nurse, especially following surgery.
• Do not overtighten or allow the bandage to compress the stoma or restrict pouch drainage.
• Do not use over an unhealed wound or irritated skin without medical advice.
