1. Taylor Reflex Hammer Used primarily to assess deep tendon reflexes. The triangular rubber head provides two striking surfaces of different sizes for neurological examination.
2. Buck Neurological Hammer Used for deep tendon reflex and sensory assessment. The dual-sided rubber head is used for reflex examination, while the integrated brush and needle support sensory examination by trained healthcare professionals.
3. Babinski Reflex Hammer: Used for neurological reflex and sensory examination. The rubber head can be positioned horizontally or vertically according to the examination technique. The concealed needle in the octagonal stainless-steel handle may be used by trained healthcare professionals for appropriate sensory assessment.
4. Queen Square Hammer: Used primarily for deep tendon reflex testing. The round rubber head and flexible handle provide a controlled swinging action during examination.
5. Wartenberg Neurological Pinwheel Used for sensory examination. The rotating pinwheel is gently moved across appropriate areas of the skin to assess cutaneous sensory response.
6. After Use Clean the instruments according to the manufacturer's cleaning and disinfection instructions. Dry thoroughly before storage and return all instruments to the case. Do not sterilize or autoclave.
