1.  Secure the oxygen cylinder upright in a safe position.
2. Ensure the cylinder valve and flow-control valve are closed before installation.
3. Attach the regulator securely to a compatible oxygen cylinder.
4. Fill the humidifier bottle with sterile or distilled water to the indicated level, then secure it firmly.
5. Connect the oxygen tubing to the nasal cannula or oxygen mask.
6. Open the cylinder valve slowly and set the flow rate as prescribed.
7. After use, close the cylinder valve, release the remaining pressure, then clean and dry the humidifier bottle.
